FAB-store in Hasselt: international fashiontalent of our own region
On November 4 2011 FAB (Fashion Across Borders) launches a pop up store in the centre of town of Hasselt. For four months you can visit the store for the creations of several young designers originally form the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. In March 2012 a new group of young designers will presented en sell their work.
Looking for an exclusive dress, a handmade scarf, a traditionally made handbag, some unique jewellery or a fashionable shirt? It’s yours!
FAB-store is an initiative of Fashion Across Borders, existing of Modemuseum Hasselt, Fashionclash (Maastricht) en Designmetropole Aachen in cooperation with MAD-Faculty and local services economy City Hasselt.
By opening this store the city of Hasselt wants proclaim itself as fashion town both national as international. The FAB-store gives young artists from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine the opportunity to experience what it is to be an entrepreneur. This way these young designer not only develop their creativity, but also their commercial skill. The shop will be opened in the centre of the Galerij De Ware Vrienden to give this gallery a boost of creative energy.
